idk tbh i wont pretend to be in the know of how things are working with ssspwn......but having decrypted roms seems like the first step towards repackingWhy would it?

You can use their launcher to dump carts without the actual gateway cart.is there anyway to dumb my own 3DS games ? without using gateway
but i should have a 3DS with update 4.5 firstYou can use their launcher to dump carts without the actual gateway cart.
just a small question. are the three sections mentioned in the key finder in some sort of header or something that determines the offset and size of respective sections? because a tool could be made that'd extract those parts altogether.
Also ctrtool should work fine *better*3dsexplorer should be able to extract these sections. Then, the keys produced using this application should, in theory, decrypt those data sections.
What are these keys to? Are they for decrypting the different partitions? It seems odd that they would just be stored in the rom without any protection. What else is needed to decrypt roms?
The system needs to start somewhere. However, the AES-CTR decrypting algorithm still needs to be cracked.
The funniest thing to me is that decryption of roms which leads to translation of roms still requires a method to pirate. Otherwise, how do you run the translated rom?
Decryption doesn't mean piracy. As long as you have a 4.0-4.5 3DS, you can dump your own roms and do this.
