Nope , you can save , using the patch to make the cart card1 type. What you cant do is load as it will find corrupted data..

not talking about the conversion tool here... the saves wont work due to the file size, but according to what I read, without tampering with any tools, loading should work, but saving obviously not, because the clones still didnt find a software solution to that, yet
or was I misunformed misinformed? I definitely read, that loading saves works

The splitter tool is for roms that are bigger than 4gb (since the file max for fat32 formatted msd's is 4gb)

There is a difference betweem allowing piracy and plagiarism. It is how it is, you bought the wrong flashcard which plagiarizes "original software" thus you tye end user are affecting the original product (gateway) AND developers, so you are worst than all gateway users together (at society eyes), i own a gateway but honestly i dont care wether you have a clon or gateway. Just dont whine when your flashcard is outdated because it doesnt support fpga update (already happening)

unmoddified card2 roms store the save inside a designated area inside the rom file itself... I thought you knew that... or maybe I am misinterpreting your question, maybe you could be more specific?

Not unless you made a backup of a 4.1 to 4.5 NAND on that DS before you ended up on v6

Are Retail cartridge working ? It requires emuNAND classic but on 4.0b1 the Flashcart's menu was disabled so it wasn't possible.

In the wiki, someone marked the flashcart as working with 4.0b2, is the menu back? Can you select Classic mode?

no , neither the menu or emunand are back. Another reason I believe they are doing more than just copying everything now.


All eshop games should work , patching the ones who doesn't . So the only games that wouldn't work are the card 2 non eshop games and the ones that have new protection
