He's talking about the gamepad dying completely from a full charge after a couple of weeks of not using it. That's because it never shuts off completely, it's always in some kind of standby mode, ready to wake up when the Wii U turns on.charging cradle of no use to you ?

pure bullshit. i leave mine in the cradle for months sometimes, i get out out once a week to check the shop and it's still going. you go ahead and add a switch to yours and btw you've just voided your warrantyAnd decreasing the Battery's life...
