How's your experience with it? Mind sharing us your experience with that system? Have you experienced the save issue yourself? How's the console itself?
Yes i tested savegame issue by creating save in one game after which i turn off console by longpressing power button, turn on again, load, play, turn off and repeated this. And at one point savegame just dissapeared. So i googled and found solution.
savegame problem can be solved by pressing (*+START) and then press (*+L) to access ingame menu, and then select "return to the file list" and press (A) only after doing this you can shut down your Revo by long press power button without losing save games, do this every time before turning it off.
(* button is small black button on top of console which controlls brightness of screen)
I also tested this and it works, my savegames are safely saved on SD card. It is really no big deal for me i can live with this but looks like this guys are back in business and hopefully they will make update for this.
Console itself is suprisingly light, buttons are nice, build quality is superb, screen is awesome, colorful, bright and it looks lot better in person then on youtube videos, console is kinda bigger the i expected it to be which is good cause i have long fingers. Buttons are nice but i noticed D pad is kinda hard to press or maybe my fingers are just being spoiled with soft gamepad i'm using for years on PC. I downloaded 206 GBA games. I didn't tested all of them but you can immediately tell this console has no problem running them in high res, high framerate. They shipped it with alot of accessories:
wall usb charger (5V, 500mA),
AV cable so you can connect it to TV and play on big screen, i tested this also and it works,
K card (card that looks like cartridge for GBA only without label, it has SD card slot, you put ROMS on SD card, put SD card in K card, put K card in Revo and thats how u play ROMS),
8 GB SDHC card wihich is surprise because they say they are shipping it with 4 GB SDHC card,
SD card to USB adapter so you can copy ROMS on your SD card,
in ear earphones which looks very nice (mine are red) unfortunatley they sound bad,
strap line just like one for cellphones and soft furry
carying case which is somewhat larger then console so you can put accessories inside alongside console. Battery life is around 4-5 hours depending on screen brightness (which is nicely bright even on lowest setting) and sound volume. Charging time with this 500 mA charger they provided is 3 hours. I am DIY kind of guy and i am planning to mod it to run on 3 AA batteries in near future. They didn't provided me a tracking number for shipment but delivery time was suprisingly fast (12 days) Same day it arrived i ordered another one
