Hey, quick question. Does Global Link work with B/W 2?

Just wondering if this game was better than the first black and white. Looking at it and trying to decide if I get it which ones the better option :/

This game is LEAGUES better than the previous. In BW the major flop was that after clearing the main story you are at a loss of what to do.

In BW2, at least you know... Oh I need to do this, I want to do that... After the main story. There is this sense of direction. The PWT will kill some hours too.

Meh, there was quite a lot you could do (but only if you had Wi-Fi). But yeah, B2W2 does add tons of end game content. In addition that you can use all 4 games (obviously including the predecessors) to literally catch a heap amount of pkm.
And finally there's the key system, allowing you to redo the game in either easy mode or hard. XD

Maybe I didn't phrase it correctly. What I meant was after you defeated N and Ghetsis, the whole chain of events seem to be broken. It's like an awesome climax without a proper ending.

It just feels incomplete. I mean really? All of a sudden after defeating them all trainers got a massive level boost? When you're walking on the bridge and suddenly the shadow triad appear and that's it? Why can't they just appear outside your hometown?

And that actually led to it's sequel. LOL

I just tested. Yup.

It gives
"Would you like to launch IR communications and DS Wireless?"

Maybe it uses IR to track a legit game, THEN switches to DS Wireless to transfer. Smart Nintendo. -.-

Btw, for those of you with the Challenge mode on... Does the game start off as a new game or you just continue from your old one with higher levelled trainers?

Well, this is why I got black 2 in the first place. It unlocks hard mode. XD

Luckily my gf bought Black 2. :x

So I'm not losing anything too.

I just beat the champion of the elite 4 here is my team. I was playing Black 2, I finished in 27 hours.

Heracross LV. 59 - Brick Break, Aerial Ace, Megahorn, Close Combat
Emboar LV. 59 - Head Smash, Arm Thrust, Take Down, Flamethrower
Crobat Lv. 58 - Fly, Confuse Ray, X-Scissor, Acrobatics
Starmie Lv. 56 - Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Psychic, Surf
Magnezone Lv. 57 - Flash Cannon, Thunder Wave, Discharge, Thunderbolt - needs to change moveset

As far as recommendation goes for pokemon.

Heracross is on lucario's level of use. Heracross dominated 2 of the 4 elite 4
Emboar is the best imo.
Crobat is extremely useful for speed, he cleaned up a lot of kills for me.
Starmie is one of the best if not the best water typle imo. He gets extremely good when you get the tms for ice beam, thunderbolt, and psychic. Also the HM Surf.
Magnezone is a little different for my taste, but he ended up working out. Be sure to teach him thunderbolt, and flash cannon for sure.

25 hours.
Only level 50 to 55

Other than that, not much difference. Seems like language was the thing which made it annoying.

In the Japanese version, the password can be numbers too. Like 7707, 5505 etc. with a zero in the 3rd digit.

Not sure bout the US version

Ampharos is easily one of the best non-legendary electric types in the game, together with Magnezone. Heck even Zebstrika is no match.

In the JP version, My Ampharos trashed Flannery's Camerupt in PWT.
But luckily it has the quick claw on. :x
