fstfix option s doesn't change anything for softmods, if you need that, you have one of the crappy modchips.
fstfix option t fixes game .isos that were broken by shrinking them. As far as i can see, you can apply it to all games without problems.

1:1 means 1:1, read that up.

And you can only have one MIOS or cMIOS at one time, so if you don't know which one you have, install the recommend one from this thread.

Ok, i've downloaded these...

but my question is... why fstfix using T...... appears to all files NOT FIXED?

I have to shrink it first and then use fstfix?

How I said, multi or single iso?

I got the Installer for WiiGator's cMIOS (with MIOSv10 as base)

and the Homebrew MIOS Patcher v0.2


where do I get the cMIOS and MIOS, the programs says can't load it from SD (I have these files on "wad")

And what program should I use first cMIO and after the PATCHER?

I have to put the SOURCE CODE from both programas inside SD CARD?

What IOS should I have to LOAD?

The only thing the game reads is that "switcher.prs", and i fear that is some kind of executable which loads the real executable. Anyways, all dvd patch patterns fail for this file, so either that's some encrypted executable or i'm really completely clueless about what's going on.

And no i don't have the game, so i can't say if the retail disc works or not. Which might be helpful information here.

PS: emu_kidid claimed it's working in his personal SD-Boot beta. If SD-Boot is ever released, and if it's open source, then maybe i could fix it.

Yes, it will be released soon and it will be open source. That's what emu_kidid said.

I use cIOS38 rev17. Single layer games work perfectly. I dont own any other double layer backup games (I tried both Brawl and Metroid Trilogy original and they both worked (if that helps)). The disc is a verbatim dvd+r (the same I use for the xbox360). I haven't touched any settings. I think the error id was 1202 or something like that (I can check it again in about 2 days cauz I don't have the wii with me right now..).

I have another problem. I have a multi-game disc with Tony Hawk's Underground, TimeSplitters 2, and Geist. THUG and Geist load and play fine, but TS2 always says DVD error 608 or something like that. I've tried burning it twice, no dice.

Hmm, ok. Maybe it's a near bad burn or your drive doesn't like DL discs less than other drives. Are you sure you didn't just get lucky with R8?

It does say that inside NeoGamma's GC loader? Then it should be a bad burn or bad .iso. Can you try WiiGator's loader on this? It's supposed to play the game, and then we could determine if it's NeoGamma's fault or not.

Try the cMIOS installer from this thread, the installer should work more stable.

TimeSplitters 2 backup loads with no issue for me using;
Neogamma R9b44 with default settings,
cIOS56rev20 ,
multigame disc Verbatim DVD-R (single layer)
and the recommended cmios (New one(based on MIOSv10)- though it also worked previously on the v4)

Hey, I used NUS yesterday,

I used MIOSv10 and renamed it to rvl-mios-v10.wad

To patch it I got another archive that is rvl-mios-v4.wad


When I tried to install it I got error -1035

I will try apply trucha bug restorer?!

I don't think so. I've run the game over 10 times with R8, sometimes it gives an 1167 error, but then I re-insert the disc and it works.
I forgot to mention that, once with B44, it (kinda) started. Actually, it recognized the game's id etc but it initialized the drive around 4 or 5 times, then it just took me back to the wii menu.
I bought it summer '08 (if that is a help too).

OK, I got a debug log, from the time I loaded the game, to the time I went to a dungeon, and tried to load the map. The map... worked fine...

...but I am using a backup + softmod, not a hardmod.
But I did enablle Ocarina and set hooktype to VI, just to see if it would have made the map crash the game, but it did not.

I am not sure if there is even anything useful in my log...

Wii Power said to get the correctly MIOS and cMIOS...

I used NUS Downloader to get:

MIOS v4
MIOS v10

it's these two files?

I don't know if this ERROR means to do that.

By the way, I use cIOS 37 rev 19 slot 249



NOTE: that these 2 programs for me there's only that option, cannot change v10 from Wii Gators and v4 from Homebrew MIOS Patcher

No, a modchip would cause a problem here, patched MIOS doesn't work when you have a modchip. Your log is missing the debug output from the MIOS itself, there should be more stuff between the reads before you even get the 1st screen of the game.

Either i messed the printf in one revision up and it works in some older revision, or the printf pattern only works for a certain MIOS. The comment in the code says it's only for MIOSv5, i fear that might be the problem.

I can't test this right now, i will do some testing myself and then tell you exactly what you need to do to get the MIOS debug output. If you really want to you can try with a cMIOS based on MIOSv5 or MIOSv10, but you don't need to before i know what's the problem.
