Do you think Eiyuden Chronicle will require FW18?

I see some small eshop games already asking for FW18. One as an update, one as a base game (Helichapter X). That kinda disturping. The only game I actively waiting for now is Eiyuden Chronicle, that is releasing in three days, which is kinda disturbing. Cart release is postponed, which means eshop version would be the only one to go and it might require FW18 already.

Updating itself is usually a small pain, but atmosphere has only prerelease with FW18 support and other modules will take a while to catch again probably. FW17 took a long time to be fully accustomed to by homebrew scene.

So what do you think? Would we be able to play on FW17 without day one patch at least?

FW18 didn't break as much as FW17, so I wouldn't be so pessimistic.
