I used IRF8714 on Mariko.
Another guy used IRFH3707 on Lite.
I also think (didnt try yet) that IRF8736, AON7506, AON7518 should work. Check the parameters on these and try to find something similar if you are in the "experimenting" mood.
Good luck
Edit: all the ones mentioned here work.

Yes i m on Hekate 6.0.3 and ATM 1.5.2
Both CFW Sysnand and CFW Emunand (file based - didnt set up a Partition Emunand) work on 16.x but trying to Boot 16.x OFW just shows blackscreen. (While 15.x OFW works)

I use 47 Ohm resistors and a pi 2040 by waveshare

if i cant find a fix i might just use emunand
oh, pretty interesting case. I haven't tried to update fuses with the chip enabled. could you try to update 15.x -> 16.x without SD card in the slot? It might be emuMMC is spoiling fuses burn

if still no luck, looks like you will have to disable chip to properly update it

I just tried it without my sd card but it just does a blackscreen. I guess i ll have to stick with emunand. I dont want to remove the chip everytime there is an Update :P can this be fixed by a firmware Update ?

Not every time, only when fuses are burnt.. Yes, probably it can be fixed with firmware update, need to think how to do that.

Is that v1 or v2 you have?

Nem sempre, apenas quando os fusíveis são queimados. Sim, provavelmente ele pode ser corrigido com atualização de firmware, precisa pensar em como fazer isso.

É essa v1 ou v2 que você tem?
he did this I wanted to confirm it's really happening this is black screen after update

Okay, let's try first thing that came into my mind - bypass into the OFW on the reboot right after the system update

<an updated v2.66 fw has been added into the main post>

Voultar is an experienced modder. Here he is installing the MOSFETs on a Lite. He does a really nice job with it. Other pics from his install are on his feed.

A longer video from Voultar. This one shows him using hot air to remove the Waveshare's USB connector and buttons. He then uses a Dremel tool and a file to make the Waveshare board even smaller on two of the four sides!

wow - that was fast. thanks for the update.
I downloaded and installed v 2.66 on the pico fly.
after that I booted up 15.x OFW
I updated 15.x to 16.x and the switch had to restart
it booted fine afterwards(although it took a bit longer on the first boot after the update - around 10 seconds). Thanks a lot!
Burnt fuses count is now 18.
works perfectly fine now.
is there a way to support you?

Anyone else have success with using Mosfets on switches with SkHynix emmc?

Only success I've had with mosfets is if both the emmc and ram is Samsung.

If it's samsung emmc and SkyHynix ram or SkyHynix emmc and Samsung Ram then it's static blue light followed by green and OFW logo. Does not boot to PicoFly no sd card screen.

When trying the flex cable on the SkyHynix ones it works fine. I noticed on the flex it has 2 mosfets and 3 resistors one is a 0 ohm resistor and the other two are 0.499K ohm resistors.

This is info is trying on several switch lites and one mariko switch.

Why is this and what is causing it and is there a solution to using mosfets.
SKHynix emmc+sam RAM on switch lite, 1 mosfet works

Today i received @Saliciae Mcfly prototype and test fitted in to a v2 with Samsung mmc , one mosfet to cpu (cables can be a lot of shorter , i just wanted to test if it work correct)
The metal shield fits nice with a little bump without any cutting , and the back cover closes without any problem
next days i will test it in an oled

Hello, I was able to successfully mod a V2 switch with picofly, I used irlhs6242 mosfet as it was the only one I had on hand close enough to 8342, works perfectly.
Nice. What AWG/MM Did you use?

Hi Dee. Been a minute

I have, but I didn't know it would matter if I didn't keep part of pin 26 ( I removed It completely). Got a spare one and will try again.

Thanks, my man.
