In this blog post I will show you my new work with Wii scene (but also on the Wii U vWii scene): my all-new tool WiiForwarder2vWii (Wii Forwarder to vWii (Wii U) Forwarder Converter) was released to the public!
Latest version is v1.2.0, last updated on October 8th, 2021, at 12:11 (GMT -05:00).
This tool will allow you to convert an original Wii forwarder / homebrew app channel in *.WAD format to a vWii (Wii U) compatible version of it, by replacing automatically the Nandloader used in the original WAD to a vWii NAND Loader, creating your own vWii (Wii U) compatible forwarders from your original Wii forwarders.
It is based on some of the original code in Convert2vWii v1.4 made by @JoostinOnline, with the help of @XFlak, @mastershoes, @FIX94 (for the vWii NAND Loader) and other people.
I know that most of you will ask me: what's the difference between Convert2vWii and WiiForwarder2vWii, if they do the same procedure?? The difference is because that Convert2vWii only works with Wii forwarders built with comex Nandloader (which location is 00000001.app, such Wii64 and WiiSX), and some Wii forwarders cannot be converted to vWii with Convert2vWii because of the different location of the DOL to load and the Nandloader (most common on forwarders built with Waninkoko Nandloader, which location is 00000002.app, such WiiMednafen & Wiicolem), so i've fixed that for make it compatible with both Nandloaders. Another difference is because Convert2vWii used an outdated version of @FIX94's tiny vWii NAND Loader, so in my WiiForwarder2vWii i've updated it with latest version r2 of the tiny vWii NAND Loader by @FIX94.

In my opinion, because of the improvements made to original Convert2vWii code in my newish tool, I think WiiForwarder2vWii should be the "spiritual successor" of the old but still good Convert2vWii.
