Okay, i will share what i saw when i went and found a game file for the Japanese Super Smash Bros. Brawl (aka Nintendo All-Star! Dairantou Smash Brothers X) and extracted its contents for see what's inside it, and what i saw IS INCREDIBLE...
Seeing this thread who anyone attempts to make an "official" Wii Virtual Console WAD for the game "Mother 2: Gyiyg no Gyakushu" (aka Earthbound), so I decided to see if there are something else i didn't notice in DSBX, so i extracted the game file using Wiimms ISO Tools and i got some files.
The principal files of the game (where contains all data of the game, including text, graphics, sprites, code, etc...) are in DATA folder, for update data and system menu update files are in UPDATE folder, but i got more interest in these other folders where i found that were some "trial versions" of some kind of official Wii Virtual Console games (all of these were released on Wii Shop Channel except Mother 2 which didn't come to VC until 2014 on Wii U).
After closer investigation, i noticed that those folders with strange IDs are just sort of VC emulators/releases in the game disc. So for avoid confusing i renamed the folders with the names of the games and systems i've found out but maintaining the ID assigned:
As shown in the image, there were a total of 14 trial versions of retro games inside Dairantou Smash Brothers X, which of these 5 of them are of Family Computer (cartidge) releases, 2 of them are Famicom Disk System releases, 5 of them are Super Famicom releases (including the not released on Wii VC Mother 2), and 2 of them are Nintendo 64 releases.
The game which took more attention to me was in Mother 2, because i have this question: why Nintendo didn't release Mother 2 / EarthBound (SFC/SNES) on the Wii Virtual Console?
