Update: I bought the Star Fox 64 remake, it's pretty good despite it being the exact same thing I played when I was a kid.

I will probably get the ocarina of time remake too because I played that game a lot back then
Several times over the past few months, I've had to stop different people's computers from syncing everything to OneDrive and download their files again, because they didn't like it.

Users not reading what they click ‘Yes’ on and Microsoft's forced marketing really is the perfect combo…
By the by, love how it only took about three hours for me to be proven right in that PS5 “Exploit Group”. See? The truth eventually comes out whether you want it to or not.

And if you need clarification, someone using AI to code is as much of a developer as lipsynching a record makes you a singer.

i don't usually pay attention to the PS5 thread but I'm seeing a whole lot of Emulation and stuff going around when it comes to that system so I'd love to hear what you're talking about when it comes to that point you've made.

Lots of drama with the main devs and wanting attention for themselves. Making tweets of stuff they claim to find but then fold when it comes time to show something. Then come to find most of them are coding with AI and not even doing any actual coding themselves.
Besides Pokémon Emerald on PS2 (which needs just some polish + some audio fixes) and something I'm working at on PS3 which I don't really want to talk about for now... as well as still polishing my Quake 3 ports, I'm not sure if my next project would be porting the other Quake games, or I'll look up which decomps look interesting enough to warrant a port.

Shame that Unreal Tournament's source got obtained in a not-so-legal way. I would've loved to see another crossplay game.
Alright. I'll have to say: Unless you got coders that don't vibecode, I officially admit that using AI to assist in making something is now something I don't mind. If it makes stuff such as PS2 Emulation possible on PS2, and multiple (working) recompilation projects possible and whatnot.

I still stand against Vibecoding. Please learn to code yourself, if you're working with the code you're using AI to make as well as understanding it, then good. if you 100% let the AI do it though, then we might have a problem and you should never touch close to any ambitious coding projects

PS2 Emulation on original Switch. And numerous users of the Switch through the original switch was starting to show its age. The fact it's been able to reach this level of success in the dedicated parts of the modding side is insane, and they're the reason I actually root for them since they're doing more to the modding scene than just making tools that make dumping and getting games easier for newbies to get their "free games" with.

And the fact they're doing this for free.... I can't

I'm going to play devil's advocate and suggest that vibecoding may have been used in recent game ports. Generally, a port can take years and years to create by somebody who has the knowledge to reverse-engineer the obscure graphical and music formats, and those who can disassemble code; therefore, why does it seem like a new port appears out of nowhere every month without any announcements? Was humans even involved, or was there AI slop? 🤔

I really hope that they had actual coders to back up their contents. it would be saddening to hear projects that I've been looking to play be backed up by vibecoders

"I get it humans are awesome but you should give me a chance"

"Okay let me connect you to someone that doesn't know anything."
Old dude in a electric shopping cart almost crashed into me I calmly said "you're alright." his reply was "my worry is if I'm going to stay alright."
Still find incredible how a simple mismatch in text breaks everything.

And might I add that while I’m a member of the LGBTQ community, some people on here remind me just exactly why non-LGBTQ people hate our community…..entitled, spoiled, and think they can boss everyone around. But people like you fail to understand that the idea is that we blend INTO society, not that they need to kiss our asses. The sooner you realize that, the better off we will be.

Because for a lot of these people, outside of this place, no one gives a shit about them.
Keep your fucking hands off my profile. As my grandfather would say: if you want to touch something, touch your ass.

And now, to take a Temp. The Taco Bell is working its way through my colon.
Woke up at 2am, been tweaking my Shader... more precisely, trying to recreate a CRT Glow (currently unsuccessful)
Good news is, managed to get 8 different CRT Phosphor Masks.
