hey Quick question anyone, so I was thinking about purchasing an Xbox one or Xbox one X I was just wondering is it possible to play Xbox 360 disc or either?

You can, yes. Here's a list of all the backwards compatible 360 games: https://www.xbox.com/en-us/games/backward-compatibility?cat=xbox360

Anything not on the list won't work.
