Hacking wiikey settings problem

Hi, i've a wii with a wiikey
wii (3.1e) wiikey (1.9g)

now i used the config disc 1.3 and tried 1.2 too,
to set the region overwrite to ON and saved it.

But everytime i go to the configuration menu again, it's again turned OFF
It seems, that my wiikey isn't saving the settings i've setted up.

And another problem is, i don't know how to get
USA backups working on my PAL wii.
I patched my backup with regionfrii but now i get a "read error"...

Maybe someone of you have some ideas.

The reason it shows as "Off" is that it doesnt say what the current setting is, but it is what you last saved it as. only that it shows "off" as default, when u boot the disc up.

Not all USA backups work on a Pal Wii.
those who DO work, will you not need to patch with RegionFrii
because Wiikey has that function built in already(the one you tries to turn on).

Ok, i know 100 percent that the usa backup is working on pal wii's.
someone posted already that the game is working on pal wii
