When i start up wiiflow from homebrew, it days this "no available partitions found!" Then i press A. "could not find a device to save configuration files or" the text cuts off at the end of my tv. I press a again and it crashes my wii. help!

How is your drive configured? For best compatibility it should MBR scheme with one FAT32 filesystem partition.

Probably. WBFS partitions are pretty out of date and you'll need an SD card for WiiFlow to write files to if you're using it. WBFS partitions can only store game disc data.
