Hacking Wii Backup Problem

I installed the Wiikey chip and burned Wii Sports and it worked fine. I also burned Zelda but it would not load. I used the same media (Fuji 8X). I loaded the original Zelda game and it works. I tested it again with Wii Sport backup and it worked also. I also burned the Wiikey utility disc 1.2 and that did not load as well. I'm not sure why the backup for Zelda and Wiikey utility 1.2 disc did not work. Any suggestions.

BTW, do I need the utility disc for the Wiikey? What purpose does it serve?

I had the same problem also. I burned my games at 4x speed instead of 16x and it worked fine. v1.2 problem was that I burned to a CD-R instead of a DVD-R. Now everything is working.

The config disc serves a few purposes, it allows you to setup region-free compatability, set the read speed of your Wii DVD drive, load emulators and use a Disc to SD dumping program.
