ROM Hack Why doesnt Smash3DS mods work??

I have the latest system version of 3ds, my sd card is fat32/class 10 and yet when i tried to install a gooey mod to my smash 3ds using smash selector, everything was fine until i selected a stage then when stage nearly loaded it froze!! Can someone please help me???
(Yes i tried to remove everything inside smash folder and put the mod back to the folder and... it didnt work...)
Btw I have the cartridge version of smash3ds

Umm have you tried other mods besides Gooey?

I suggest try deleting the ui folder. Yes. It won't display Gooey's ui. But this is common to some European users. No other fix for now as the European version of SaltySD is buggy and considered as unstable than the US version. Also, don't dare to replace the code.ips to the US version. It won't work.
