So I have the option to buy one of two switches:

1.) Unpatched - XAJ7003069 - Running 8.0.1 (unsure what stock OS was)
2.) Patched - XAJ4008260 - running 6.2 which is the FW it shipped with originally (also the cheaper of the two)

I've done a lot of reading this afternoon, but it seems the more I read the more questions I have! From what I've read I'm better off getting the unpatched switch running 8.0.1 (assume it will work 100% with most exploits) but according to a post I can potentially exploit the patched switch using deja vu?? (Can't post a link, but its the Sticky "Firmware Status)

The patched switch is a lot cheaper than the unpatched one so if there is any hope, I'd obviously like to pursue that avenue, but I'm not finding much documentation out there for a patched switch running FW 6.2

You're better off buying the unpatched one. Deja vu is documented to work up to v7.x in the future but we don't exactly know how long we should wait. It would probably take a long time.

Thanks, Pretty much knew that. Was just hoping for some way that the patched unit would work with deja vu, but not finding much anywhere about it!
