FWIW I bought mine for 170 € a year ago, never used on 3.0.0...
"Official EOL" means little when people are still buying them (I bet there has been a decent spike in the market for new consoles thanks to the hacking scene going from little to awesome in the past 6 months and especially in the last one)
For christmas? Not betting on it, after all it's still current gen
After the NX, likely (but only because we have strong evidence major 1st/2nd party games are ending, unlike what happened to DS/i with the launch of the 3DS)
