Gaming what is wiiwarE?

WiiWare, which allows developers to create downloadable titles especially for the Wii.
I DONT GET IT AND MY ENGLISH IS NOT FAR FROM GOOD!
i understand that u can download games from the wiishop channel,now some points i want to be cleared:
1.WHERE will it download the game?To the flash drive :S ??to the sd card???
2.what the ppl with bad bandwidth will do?and how about the internetless XD
3.these game are like other wii games? 4.7GB? or they are not full of garbage as normally wi games are

4.will we be able to burn them on dvd?

but the flash is 256 mb and i dont have a sd card.
so im screwed? and if the games are smaller they will be in the smae quality as others?

1. Onto the Wii's 512 MB internal memory.
2. Bad bandwidth = slow download. No internet = no download.
3. 60 MB max.
4. No.

well wiiware games are smaller games, but wont look like old NES/SNES/64/ETC games. They can use the wiiremote/wifi/etc, and have decent graphics, or simple ones (depends on what the developer wants).

I'm guessing you'll have to do the swap to play technique with WiiWare too since the Wii currently can't play things directly from SD.

Of course they'll cost points, they're not going to spend the time and money making games just to give them away for free. Its just another method of distribution thats all. Just read up on how Xbox Live Arcade and Sony's PSN operate, it will be similar.

Maybe the firmware update that'll come with WiiWare will allow it to play things from the SD too ^^

Final Fantasy will cost $15 while other game like Star Soldier will cost $8.
Also, the Final Fantasy game is a town sim. Just a heads up.

The japanese site has wiipoint costs (not sure if they're gonna stay the same for USA/EU)

FF:CC: 1500 Wiipoints
Dr. Mario: 1000
Star Soldier R: 800
Pokemon Rancher: 1000
some other games are 500

So looks like anywhere from $5-$15 (US)
