In 10-15 years quantum computers will become widespread and the asymmetric cryptography algorithms used today will be torn apart. Symmetric cryptography, mainly AES, will be weakened but not broken. Some VPNs offer quantum resistant cryptography because their target audience is paranoid people. As far as I know, only the Switch 2 uses quantum-resistant asymmetric cryptography. I'm not sure about the PS5, Xbox Series S/X or the Switch 1 updated to newer system versions released after the Switch 2 came out. In theory it will become possible to fakesign code for any console which does not implement quantum-resistant asymmetric cryptography. At this point in time it is only possible (as far as I know) for the PS3 and 3DS.
