What am I doing wrong on Arkanoid????

What were your favourite DS Homebrew from back in the day?

I'm thinking of making a video about the original R4DS cartridge as it was my very first delve into any kind of messing around with consoles and felt super nostalgic finding it under the bed yesterday! Also makes for a good excuse to re-shell, & re-battery my 2 consoles ahaha. I recall a few things that blew my mind about it over time like, working out how to convert movies to watch on the DS, MSN messenger, Modding ROMs then putting them back together to play on OG console, and homebrew (emulators mostly). Probably the biggest thing was an SD card for released that it was so small it could fit in a DS Cartridge 😂 So, I wondered what some of your personal favourite things to do with your R4 (or any of the other thousands of flash carts) were? It'll be difficult to show off MSN messenger of course, but I've got a VGA video filmed from one of the first phone cameras 18 years ago on an old channel I can steal all footage from for that 😅 Also, I take it this is probably the best place to download the files to get it working again after all these years, right? https://linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/ Any help or feedback appreciated!

I am currently playing the japanese version of Arkanoid. But, due to the simple nature of the game, it hasn't been too difficult, UNTIL NOW!!!!!!!!!! I am currently playing the single player "quest" mode. Each zone has five levels. As I've cleared a level, the next has opened up. But then, after I cleared all the levels of Zone C, only Zone F and the first level of Zone J unlocked. Now that I cleared those zones and levels, nothing else has opened up for me to play. I have cleared:

*Zone A 1-5
*Zone B 1-5
*Zone C 1-5
*Zone D (All Still Locked)
*Zone E (All Still Locked)
*Zone F 1-5
*Zone G (All Still Locked)
*Zone H (All Still Locked)
*Zone I (All Still Locked)
*Zone J 1 (2-5 Still Locked)
*Zone K (All Still Locked)
*Zone L (All Still Locked)
*Zone M (All Still Locked)
*Zone N (All Still Locked)
*Zone O (All Still Locked)
*Zone P (All Still Locked)
*Zone Q (All Still Locked)
*Zone R (All Still Locked)
*Zone S (All Still Locked)
*Zone T (All Still Locked)
*Zone U (All Still Locked)
*Zone V (All Still Locked)
*Zone W (All Still Locked)

So, I went back and replayed everything, thinking that maybe I needed a higher score in order to advance. That hasn't worked. So, I don't know what else to do. Does anyone out there know what I am doing wrong? I really want to advance through "quest" mode, but can't seem to get any more zones to unlock. Help.....
