not to keep adding to an already pointless thread, however;

Who could be THAT stupid!

Stop it with this asinine dumb ass threads with misleading titles and no technical knowledge what-so-ever!

They should just close this subsection. Too many 12 year old kids with great "hacking ideas".

It needs to be digitally signed with nintendo's key to run.

EDIT:I sounded rude

would it be possible to extract the key from a game and im tallking like its thinks its already signed and inside the system but its actually in a computer being transferred to the system

To sign your own binaries (homebrew), you need the private key. Only Nintendo has it and you can't find it in games or the 3DS firmware, unless Nintendo made the same mistake as Sony (very unlikely).

yes but in the firmware is the methodology used to check the private key. if it calls out over wifi to check we can track and change that. If it is solely in the frimware itself again we can change that.

(I need to check if anyone has manged to dump the firmware).
has anyone got a link for the internal structure of the 3ds yet. That could tell alot more useful stuff. grumble grumble...

future flashcart- uploads a few 3ds aps one that copies the firmware and any updates to the sd card or itself in case it needs to reference it then enforces any countermeasures needed for piracy to work (homebrew firmware installation), a second that lets you upload pirated stuff from your pc. a third one to make sure the updates from nintendo (wifi, streetpass or game wise) do not remove any of them (an auto re-installer if you will).
what else might be needed to make this work...
flashcart will need to sync with pc first to load up the latest homebrew firmware, anything else user needs or wants to install/use.

nintendo already licsensed out wifi connections for every unit of ds/dsi/3ds otherwise there would be no internet browsing on there devices... right?

reason for edit - adding silliness.

guys its just an idea geez chill cant a guy just share an idea with people getting pissed off about it geez

If people want to hack things and need private keys, ask Sony. I hear they're handing them out left, right and center.

+1

ADD: you will need private keys to do that hack. So no not possible.

haha i wouldnt exactly say that they are handing them out ,i mean we still dont have the npdrm keys
nor do we have the keys to decrypt 3.60 or 3.61 compiled eboots ,nor do we have the lv0 keys or any 3.60 or 3,61 keys that would allow us to have a cfw for the last THREE fw updates ,we are already 3 firmwares behind and sony has already announced another one 3.70 due in sept ,so we are fast approaching being 4 fw's behind ,although i really cant complain that much ,yet,as wwe can still play all games, save a few

Congratulations. I actually installed the GeoHot CFW on my PS3 once, then immediately decided that Super Mario World was boring as shit on my HDTV and PS3, and so put the original firmware straight back on. I don't want the damn PS3 hacked any more. I like it how it is.

Just leave the Playstation 3 alone. LEAVE HER ALONE!

Back on topic (kind of): Private keys are tied to the hardware. Sony just said "fuck you" to the hackers and made it more difficult to use the thing. So even if Nintendo's keys get leaked, they've still got their many infamous hardware revisions to release (see Nintendo DS for example), as well as plenty of methods to screw hackers over.

To be honest, the only reason I want to see the 3DS hacked is just so I can make the thing region free (and look how well that worked on the Wii - not well at all, thanks to all those fantastic "hackers").

Now, as for the topic at hand: WHY THE HELL DO WE NEED SO MANY OF THESE STUPID TOPICS?!

Oh right. People are dumb. Ugh.

yes, we can easily make such application as we have 100 libraries of nintendo 3ds development code

Now we wait for someone to start a new topic claiming that they have 100 libraries of Nintendo 3DS dev code.
