Hacking Watch videos on your DS

We are talking about the Nintendo DS here, it was never made to watch movies.

nope, but it does a pretty decent job if you convert TV shows for it

cartoon/animated vid also turns out pretty well in DPG

I mean, I'm not going to sell my home theater because my DS can play video, but it's really pretty decent for catching up on TV while on the commute to work

Does anybody know if there is another dgp video player other than moonshell or if there is one in development? A dpg player that played like imp would be very nice.

DPG was created specifically for Moonshell, and no there are no other DPG players for the DS.

dsm is better quality than dpg, but insanely huge filesizes for marginal increase

the DS screen just isn't big enough to justify 1-1.5gb file for 1 hour of video (compared to the 100ish mb a DPG conversion would be)
