Hacking USB read error

I have tried to update my (working) Wii to run Skylander, it won't "see" the portal, now I can't load games from HD.
i think the USB error started when i tried to update to D2X from this instruction h t t p s ://wii.guide/cios.html

It is not possible to list all I have tried, so I will just list where I am

If i have HD connected to USB0, and start Homebrew, it wont read the apps on the ext. SD card, if I remove HD, it cant read them.
If I then connect the HD again and launch USBLoader_GX v3.0, it show games, if i choose a game, menu freeze, but cursum are still able to move.
If i use USBLoader_GX v1.0 it says it cant load iOS249 and defaults to iOS222 and starts up, but there's no games in the list..
I have tried with 2 different HD

Certainly looks like an issue with the cIOSes you have installed.

I'd suggest to follow this guide from the very start so to eliminate prior issues/problems with the current setup.

I just did, i have downloaded Modmii and followed the guide completely. that did nothing.
Then i tried Syscheck, but thers no file on the SD after running syscheck,
When i use MMM v5 it also use the internal mem and not the SD card, so i had to use YAMM insted .
I seems that the Wii calls the internal memory for SD and the SD card for USD mass storage. I noticed that in MMM v3.2 where I can choose mem souce after entering WADs.
I have tried 3 different guides to mod it, and it is the same result every time, i really f... it up.
it was after i got an advise in tread mkwii . com / showthread.php ? tid=34 to solve the skylander problem, my USB stopped working.

In the guide you pointed to, the picture shows to use Beta 53 in slot 249, i have tried both, same problem
I cant figure out what is wrong, Maybe it is 248 or 251 that is falulty, they are not included in the Modmii package

I installed D2X v6, IOS248,249,259,251 problem gone (/%=q%#(/q#6
Now I only need to find out how to install USB loader on the wii instead of the SD card.........

If you are looking for usb loader gx, this way ==>https://sourceforge.net/projects/usbloadergx/

and if you want the usb loader gx redirect channel, it's on this same page.

Just a tip:

Always leave the SD card in the wii, when playing or others.
