Hacking USB Loader GX issue with SSD/USB Flash drive

Hi all,

Weird issue.
I've got an issue where if I have my USB flash drive plugged into port 0 and my USB SSD drive in any other port, USB Loader GX won't pickup my GC/Wii games? If I take out my SSD, it'll pick it up fine? I've tried different ports but nothing is working. My USB flash drive is stealthed too.

is the SSD for WiiU, or is it fat32?
I suppose it's formatted for WiiU if your device in port0 is modified with ustealth.

you are the second this week having that issue.
we didn't find a solution to keep both at the same time.
it's usually working, even with more than 2 hdds.

maybe it's a SSD only issue?

or maybe the SSD draw too much power and the other usb doesn't work?
did you try to plug SSD on the front port? USB power should work 2 by 2 like on PC.

It's still recommended to use a real (externally or y-cable powered) HDD instead of flash drive for Wii games!



Look at the forum Wii section, it's full of "USBGX can't detect my drive" and they are all about flashdrive, and people are still insisting on using them when it's been 2 years it's written in big letters in ALL created threads about "my device is not recognized" or "black screen helllllp" threads.
really, using HDD and all problem are solved instead of still insisting on using flash just because "it should" work.
