I've been trying to export my save from a EUR game on my 3DS but I keep getting "Error opening save archive!" Is there any way I can get around this?

Go back into the game and re-save, then try again. If that doesn't work, use the CIA version of JK Save Manager instead; if you already are using the CIA, then use something else.
My mistake! I found out that my game only uses ExtData. Thank you so much for your time, though!
