First of all, sorry if this is in the wrong section. I'm new here and have no idea where to even go! ^^"

I've looked at a couple of tutorials and downloaded a couple of programs including the "3ds_homemenu_extdatatool" files (3DSX, SMDH, CIA) and CustomThemeEditor. I have a preowned 3DS and it came with a 32 GB SD card and the only folders on it are:

- Nintendo 3DS
- DCIM

So I just made an extra folder called "3ds_homemenu_extdatatool"and put the 3ds_homemenu_extdatatool files in it. I made a theme using CustomThemeEditor which is called "body_LZ.bin" but I've no idea where to put it... so I just dropped it in the same folder...

I don't have NinjHax or any transferring program like that, which is what the tutorials I've been looking at seem to be using.

I've probably done something wrong but if someone could tell me how to install a theme from an SD card or if I'm missing anything that'd be great!

Thank you :)

An example:
Download this Themepack (look at the video description) and unpack it.

Now transfer the *.cia to the SD Card (inside the 3DS)
Fire up your 3DS, boot in Emunand, start dev menu and install the *.cia.

Be Happy :)

There's download links for USA and Europe but I'm in Australia. Would either of these work for me, do you know?

Thank you for replying by the way :)

I don't seem to have a Gateway 3DS, or just the Gateway flash cart... :\

Seems like a bit of a hassle just to make your own themes haha ^^"

What about themes that don't come in .cia format? the japanese theme packs are usually in .bin format, can anyone explain how to install them on emunand?
