I'm not offended, but I don't think that's a valid argument.
Any hax and CFW (and even some games) don't work without an SD card.
I don't really see why would want to take out the SD card while the 3DS is on, anyway.
MicroSD management lets you move files with wifi.
And before you go "But what if you want a stock/clean/vanilla 3DS?"
You can use CakesFW and not select any of the patches.
It's already gotten simpler and safer.
You shouldn't brick as long as you do everything correctly.
I've installed A9LH on my Old, and New 3DS without bricking.
You still lose functionality by not being able to boot without an sd card. You can play plenty of cartridge games without the SDcard where saving is a non issue. TO say something is completely better it has to be better in every sense of the word.
