Hello,

I am buying a Xecutor SX Pro and would like to know the following.

1/. Can i just buy an micro sd card 128gb and which format should it be on please?

2/. With the .xci file how does a user run if greater the 4gb?

3/. With .xci files can they be renamed and still run ok?

Thanks Heaps.

  • Q: Which file format does SX OS support? What about split files?
  • A: We support both FAT32 and exFAT.
SX OS will also try to look for split files in the form of "filename.xc0" "filename.xc1" "filename.xc2" and so on to support ROMs larger than 4GB on FAT32.

And yes, they can be renamed i think.

Please read the proper FAQ's on their website. There are a lot of answers to your questions there.

Yes - exfat preferred
Exfat support >4gb if you have fat32 you can split the xci file using a file splitter
You can name it whatever you want

In the FAQ, they mentioned being able to update your games. Does this include DLC?
Yeah if you connect to the Eshop and buy it. As long as you aren't banned from Eshop, you should be able to use it regardless of using SX-OS or not.
I'm personally gonna keep my system purely offline.
