Meritline comes through again! Just got the Kingston 2GB microSD + USB reader bundle for $27.90 w/ free ground shipping. Ordered on the 4th and it got here (East coast) from California today (7th).

Unfortunately they raised the price up to $31.50 now but the shipping is still free. Plus it never hurts to have a spare reader on hand for when the R4 ones inevitably fail.

Oh yeah and by the way it's a JAPAN version.

I'm gonna convince my mom that our family needs a new desktop computer (It died years ago, but I use a laptop so... not a big deal for me) so that we can go to fry's. if I can't find good micro sd's cheap there, then that site is my backup.

That's not a very good deal... I got my 2GB Kingston Japan for $15 shipped after google checkout on buy.com.

So far on www.newegg.com i've ordered 2 kingston 2gb micro sd cards over a month apart from each other, and each time i got a JAPAN version (awesome, i know). Both where about 21~22 before S&H. Good deal IMO from a good online store.

Too bad i just had a one of them fail on me last week, but just call tech support at kingston and they are replacing it free of charge!
