Hacking Swap O/X Permanently

i have ps vita slim aqua blue fw version 3.55, i want to put TNV into it so i can play my downloaded psp games, but i cant login to my PSN acct to download the exploit game, what should i do?? PLS help!

Setting up button remap in Accessibility settings would be essentially the same as hardmod. It will swap the meaning of o/x for everything (Japanese games will now use x for confirm). Would do the registry hack on restore, but need to be on 3.55 so no more fail mail exploit. Oh well, I will live with X for confirm till something else allows registry edit > 3.52

this idea is different, because a game may have X for jump, but still in japan have O for 'yes' and in usa have X for 'yes'.
if i remapped my usa vita X->O, O would make you jump, which is not how the japanese game worked...
in localizations, the buttons are never/rarely swapped, only the confirmation part of it.

on my jpn vita i played a usa game, i remapped x to o so i could play the game with O confirm, but it was a little annoying because other commands are affected too. but in that game it wasn't so bad, better than playing normally and using X as confirm

Well yeah, so the remap is horrible. Why cant sony have a config to swap o/x for system menu.. Its been requested since psp days

i want that too but some games still ignore it - which is why i remapped the button!
usa persona 4, jpn vita, X is still confirmation. sony does force devs to do stuff, why can't they force them to abode by the user's confirm button?
