Hacking Some questions about a Wii with bootchip

Hello.

I'm considering getting a Wii with a bootchip. I'm thinking about getting the Wiikey chip.

About the backup games, what should they be burned on ? DVD-r, DVD+r or ... ? And if you have a modded Wii, can you burn the Gamecube games on "normal" dvd's, instead of the small ones ?

I don't have a wireless network, but a normal ADSL connection through a RJ45 (I think it's called) wire. Can I go online on the Wii with that ?

Is it possible to play backup games online on a modded Wii ?

1. DVD+R and DVD-R should both work, not sure about RAM but nobody really uses them. Yeah GC games burn to normal DVDs, you can even burn multiple games to make use of the extra space.


2. You can buy adapters to go through network ports, not sure about rj45 but apparently there is something:

2) Wii Lan Adapter straight from Nintendo's online store is 24.99 + $5 ship. No worries about OEMs switching chipsets on you just to save a few bucks.

I've got it, it works fine with a DSL-connected network.

Is it possible to burn multiple Wii games on one DVD-/+r then ? Or is it only GC games ? And how do I burn multiple GC games on one disc ? In different DIR's, ISO files at root of DVD-/+r or ... ?

Only GC games can be made into multiple game discs, Wii games are signed and that would break the signing.
As for how, there are a few ways (I think there was even some mac tools appearing at one point) but this app is one of the most frequently used:

Hmm i just saw on wiki compatibility list that the new update rc of wiikey make works hajime no ippo and naruto on pal is it a joke ? If not does it also make them work on ntsc u by any chance ?

I am not really beleiving it but since that update on wiki compatibility still hasn't been remove it is maybe real .

A simple update would not change region compatibility, it may however be the original test failed somehow.

Multigame discs is where the game is spread over multiple discs which as I recall is something that can not be made into a "multi-game" disc.
