Hacking So does Streetpass not work with Gateway?

I'm playing Bravely Default and I'm trying to build my town. The game says using Streetpass allows your town to get more villagers. I've been meeting miis through Streetpass but the game keeps telling me I haven't met anyone.

I did some searches and couldn't find a confirmation of Streetpass either working or not with Gateway.

I'm still using firmware 1.2 because of all the problems I've been reading about 2.0 beta.

Streetpass has been working with all of my games so far. You just need to find someone who has streetpass enabled for that game.

Same here, any hit with bravely using streetpass relay, but magically the streetpass relay gives me streetpasses, for example, KH 3D...

Used Gateway Emunand v2.0b, and when i try to go back to v1.2, the save gets deleted...
