No but SNES9x has been ported for Gamecube homebrew that can be played on the Wii.

Tone down the font size and color please, it's unnecessary.

I found these ROMS + emulators for the Wii today:

NES (772 Roms)

SNES (744 Roms)

Sega Master System (268 Roms)

Sega MegaDrive\Sega Genesis (713 Roms)

PC Engine\Turbo Grafx 16 (96 Roms)

but I was hoping for some great arcade (MAME) action as well...

EMUs that you have downloaded will run in GC mode, MAME was never ported to GC hence why we have not seen MAME on Wii. BTW you could try NeoCD Redux EMU.

It should be possible to run MAME emulators on the Wii but at the moment you'll have to make do with the GameCube ones like XMAME and Neo-cd Redux 0.1.51 (techinally not a MAME emulator but well worth having as the Neo Geo CD had a lot of arcade classics).

Can't say I've tried either as its a lot easier to run stuff on my PC or Xbox.
