Hacking Question Should I reset?

Hello lovely people,

I am currently running 8.1.0 AMS on my switch. I been interested in completely wiping out my switch (formatting SD & restoring switch back to factory default, and the repacking it once again)

I’m just curious to know is it worth it? Or should I just update via chojour. I don’t mind losing my current data. I do have to state that I burnt a fuse in the past.

My question is, should I update via chojour and then reset the system and then jailbreak so I can have a fresh new jailbreak? And would that correct the burnt fuse issue since now it is no longer trying to load to an older firmware?

Your recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Why do you want to reset your Switch? Is it broken or something? I'm just trying to figure out what the reason is for the best option here.

Personally, I'm biased but i say stay on 8.1.0.

I personally want to delete some games & fix a couple of things but figured it be better to just start fresh.

DevMenu and Gold Leaf might be a better way to do all of that.
