I have a problem with my wii, it started months ago from hanging time to time at the moment when the game start. Then it was getting worst and worst(more often). At the moment I can run nothing from cd neither gx loader. Any try finishing with the blank screen, but power button is responsible such way that I can turn off the unit holding it. During freeze disc eject is responsible too. After power on I can go to the settings and than to the data management level. There is one question mark in wii nand memory (can i remove it safely?). Entering to the settings level is impossible, it is the same like with games – hanging. Wii is 4.3u softmoded, bootmi not in boot2. Do not have priiloader, I did not know about it until now. I made a nand and key dumps few years ago. Three power supplies checked(two nintendo and one ATX), so not external power problem. As I remember It was occasionally feezed in the wii main menu sometime with feedback motors on. I got it second hand, already softmoded so I do not know history. Any ideas (I have some but I do not want to make suggestions) before I will open the unit ?
19.02.2021 If someone following - Today I have decided to remove question mark block. I do not know that it helped or not but I was able to install the priiloader and than even I could download missing covers from the wifi and play some games with my daughter. I will see this week that problems still exist or it was caused by this question mark in memory. I am thinking about factory reset and clean softmoding, but I have some doubts. Probably I will do it if problem will still exist.
23.02.2021 It works fine. After cios and usbloadergx update even better than before. But question is how and why this question mark memory block was created?
