Hello.

So I have this Wii that was semi bricked, the last thing I did was turning off my Wii during WAD install, that was pretty stupid. And after that, Wii System Menu, gives me black screen, USB Loader GX and CFG doesn't reacognize my USB no matter where I put them, and launching channels from USB Loader GX also gives me black screen.

Though other homebrew like Nintendont recognize my USB I was able to play my GCN games off of it. Same thing with various emulators I have installed. So I'm pretty sure the Wii System Menu is the one that needs to be fix.

I do SysCheck before, but unfornately I don't currently have an SD card, and SysCheck give me giant red X rather than a green tick, and it didn't give me any link. Though, SysCheck does let me view the result. I skipped IOS 202, 222, 223, etc, there's like 5 I skip.

Any help? I can write the SysCheck manually if that's critical.

1) VC Paper Mario for N64
2) uhh. No idea
3. I don't think I have Bootmii in the first place. When I tried to launch "Boot Bootmii IOS" through Priiloader, it just won't let me do it as if I don't have it

IIRC Bootmii loads off of the SD card, so that might be why. (Note: I'm aware you said you don't have an SD card, but I wanted to know if boot2 was an option).

On syscheck, what did it say about ios 58 and your cios?

I'd suggest waiting for someone to verify this since there's no backup, but I wonder if trying to uninstall the wad might fix the brick?

I've never done this, but maybe using emunand or an emulator with a dump of the nand might be useful for testing.

On syscheck, what did it say about ios 58 and your cios?
On IOS58 it says USB 2.0
Also the cIOS I install through d2x:

IOS249[57] (rev 65535, Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug, Nand Access
IOS250[56] (rev 65535, Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug, Nand Access
IOS251[38] (rev 65535, Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug, ES Identify, Nand Access

Though on IOS254 it says:
IOS254 (rev 65281): BootMii
does this mean something?

Also, I have uninstalled the WAD, did nothing.

Yeah, u shouldn't go uninstalling wads when u Dont know what they are or do, u could have very well turned a semi-brick into a full brick by doing this.

Can u share your full syscheck here?

The way I see it u have 3 options

1) someone asked if u have a bootmii backup and u said u don't know, but to help clarify, what they meant was do u have a backup of your nand made by bootmii (I. E. A nand backup, nand.bin). If so, restore with bootmii

2) resoftmod/overwrite old mods/ios's using modmii's main wizard or syscheck updater wizard

3) go full nuclear on this b*tch, make a new nand backup, then use it as a basis to build a new virgin nand.bin usin ohneschwanzenegger, then restore it using bootmii, then resoftmod using modmii or whatever method u prefer

Also, the Wii Remote doesn't connect whatsoever. I don't know if this is the Wii itself, or the sensor bar.

And btw, thanks for the reply, all things you suggested here require sd card last time I checked, so I guess I had to wait for a while.

Hey uhh, @XFlak, sorry to brother you, just wanna ask something since I wanna do something that is kinda dangerous, what happens if I install System Menu 4.3 WAD downloaded from NUS Downloader?

My micro SDHC came today but the adapter is kinda busted and it still kills me that shipping cost 20 times more than an micro sd adapter.

Since you're already on 4.3, it would probably do nothing other than remove priiloader. If u installed it without having ios80 already installed, u would fully brick (unless u have bootmii boot2). If the wii was originally Korean and poorly region changed (I.E, Korean key still in the seeprom), having a stock ios80 on 4.3 would lead to 003 brick, but rather you would want an ios80 that's based on ios60 (like what u have installed, ios80 v16174 indicates it's based on ios60v6174)

So yeah, that answers your question, now it's my turn... why are you thinking about doing something different from the 3 options I suggested above?

Edit: since your syscheck looks fine, you can ignore option number 2 from my post above. If u were you I would go with option 1 or 3.

Or u can do option 4, which is similar to what you're proposing. Use modmii to "region change" to 4.3U. I put region change in quotes because you are already on 4.3U, but the region change wizard would have u reinstall the 4.3U system menu and other system files (like eula, region select, etc). It would also have u reinstall priiloader after reinstalling a system menu (which removes priiloader). But honestly, I think option 1 or 3 has the greatest chance of success.

Syscheck looks fine

Wiimotes not connecting have nothing to do with the sensor bar. If the issue was the sensor bar, wiimotes woild connect, but u wouldn't be able to navigate/point
The sensor bar is just infrared lamps. That's it. The pointing logic is handled by the Wiimote.

Try to install BootMii, create a NAND backup and send it to me. After i'm done install the backup and you're done
