Hacking Selling 3DS - system format?

Hello,

I'm selling my 4.5 3DS and I'm wondering if I should perform a system format. I've never entered card details onto the system but I have emuNAND and the e shop set up. If I didn't format, would there be anything important left on the system? If I did, would the 4.5 firmware and emuNAND be left in tact?

Emunand is on your SD card, you can just format the card with Panasonic SD Formatter.
