I am pretty adept in the 3DS Hacking and CFW scene, but I don't have money to scour the globe for another <=9.2 O3DS for my brother. I was wondering if anyone knows if all the rxTools 3.0 prereleases can support 10.6 emunand on O3DS or is it just the new 3.0 beta 2?

I am just curious because I want to run the 9-28 nightly as that is the newest release that can be coldbooted from ctrbootmanager/ has AGB_Firm support/ has TWL_Firm support.

Also can someone tell me how to update emunand from rxTools safely? I have only ever updated emunand from ReiNand 3.2 on N3DS XL and want to know how its done on O3DS without ReiNand.

Only relevant input please

Solution
Old3DS has the best and most support, so it's the easiest.

I think even rxTools 2.6 should support 10.6 EmuNAND, but rxTools 3.0 should definitely support 10.6 EmuNAND.
You can update your EmuNAND very easily: go to system settings on EmuNAND, and check if it contains RX-E (or RX3D on rxTools.dat) in the version string. If it does, then don't exit system settings, go instantly to other settings -> update system.

Also, if you accidently buy a 3DS with SysNAND being >9.2 and <=10.3, then you can downgrade, but it's risky.

While were here. Is there any way to tell what version of rxTools is being used? I tried looking in the credits and every option available but I dont see it anywhere.
