Hacking [Rumor]Waninkoko to release CFW for PS3

You could always send it in to Sony to get it fixed. I've been hearing that they don't care if you bricked it trying to hack it - they'll just give you the normal price for refurbishment. Never got to hear what that price was though...

Installation of unsigned PKG (if you installed wutangrza patch too). Haven´t heard about any brick with it and it´s definitly a better approach as Wanin´s CFW since it patches LV2 on the fly (you need to start an app before you can use the backup managers) and not permanent.

Packages still need to be signed when using Geohots firmware, and as far as I am aware there has only been one case of bricking with kmeaw's firmware.

$180 for any of the phat ones... used to be $150.

An Infectus is hardware that most people don't even know exists, let alone what it is, where to get it, or how to use it.
