In fact, no. But that is not needed . The icon.png is generated by CTAPG, the name is just the theme directory name. Both are used to generate the .SMDH file in the process. So, no need to pack, then extract.

EDIT: But, maybe, possibly, @Chelsea_Fantasy might want to include some of the features of this package into his tool.

Actually, Chelsea_Fantasy already made tool for extraction icon.png from .smdh (without name.txt though, still have to be done manually).
This tool will be included with next release of Howling Theme Tool, as soon as we fix icons for Jap Home Menu.

Is there a way to make the program include the buttons in the preview? Because it's only showing the wallpapers for now. Also, thanks for this, it's being really useful.

Nope, not possible, sorry!

I just uploaded another update, v3.1. This now includes a truly static (as in, needs no additional DLLs) version of smdhtool.exe plus a proper readme. It also contains the bonus stuff (check the readme!) I made for @redunka.
