I wonder how tho, I've never seen 10 or 20GB ram sticks...2 16's and 2 4's maybe, 32 and a 8, but I've always thought its better to keep the ram sticks same size on each channel. (dual/quad)
When I bought my lappy years ago at microcenter, the 8gb ram model laptop was $50 cheaper than the 16gb ram laptop, so bought the cheaper, and a separate 8gb ram stick for only $25 and installed myself, is simple.
Oh yea I did buy a ssd for it also and changed it out, cloned it to the ssd (cause it had win10 preinstalled), that was a pain to get to the HD slot, was under the keyboard, had tear whole happy apart almost.
