Years ago, I bought an IDE HDD enclosure that can connect to a TV and then play AVIs. Unfortunately this was during a time when MP4s were starting to become commonplace and as a result, got forgotten about quickly. Now I want to try and get one but this time to play Blu Ray rips in MKV format. I don't want to go down and build an HTPC so I wanted something like Popcorn Hour but my only requirement is that it has to be able to connect wirelessly to my home network so I can upload files to it because the TV is in a room that has no ethernet connection within reach and I don't want to spend more money on this network plugs that goes into electrical sockets.
