Hardware PSP-1004 got some problems

Hi guys, yesterday I've charged my old PSP-1004 white that I've got 12 years ago. It says half chsrge with 4 hours of charge (meh..), but I cannoct connect with every WiFi. I've to set WEP on mine and got a downgrade speed and security, and say DNS ERROR while I connect to update fron 6.60-B10 to 6.61!

This device is useless nowadays, or could I do something?

If it's really complaining at DNS, the actual wireless link part is perfectly fine (oh, and PSP also supports WPA1 - although some newer access points like Fritz 7490 don't work even in WPA1+2 mode)

Does the browser work (on a well-designed, non-https website repairfaq.org)? If it does, the problem is most likely with the CFW's update server (which I wouldn't bet on being still up)... of course you can always install official 6.61 then a 6.61 CFW from memory stick
