Hacking Preinstalled game and EmuNAND

Alll,

I have just purchased a new 3DS XL bundle with Supe Mario 3d Land preinstalled (firmware is 4.3). I was expecting to have the game in the Home menu upon turning on the console for the first time but the truth is that there is no game, nor in the Home menu neither in the SD card (actually used space is just 5 megabytes….) so i am assuming I need to download the game for free from the eShop. Obviously I do not want the firmware to be updated so I am thinking about installing EmuNAND. The question here is:

Can I access the eShop from the Emuland and download the game or I will be requested to a firmware update as requisite to access the Eshop so the new firmware 7.2 will prevent for sure to access the eShop?

Try to update your 3DS XL to 4.5. Apparently, Gateway only supports 4.5

Gateway supports 3DS with any firmware from 4.1 to 4.5, there's no "apparently".

As for the question, eShop is not available now since 7.2 is not supported. So go get a ROM or something for now.
