Gaming Pokemon Trading - between Diamond/Pearl

Okay, here's the situation.
Say, you have both game cards, Diamond and Pearl.

You load up Diamond. You go to GTS and put up a pokemon for trade.

You switch the game to Pearl. You go to GTS and seek for the pokemon that you posted for trade in Diamond. Will it show up for trade?

If somebody else hasn't taken it, yes.
Just get another DS instead.

yea it probably will or you can jiust borrow someone elses ds

you know i was wondering this same thing. i realize this is old but i was trying it today and a few days ago and i just cant get it to work like that. i recon ill have to find someone with a ds so i can put my pearl in one and diamond in another.
