hmm so this one has me stumped. Used sxos to install overcook 2 xci. game loads fine until the part where it says “press L & R to start game”. when I do this, the homebrew menu opens up. please help. thank you.

It's a known problem with sx os beta 2.3. It has been reported and hopefully it'll get fixed on the next version.

ahh that explains it. is it just for overcook? or is it random with xci files?

How'd you install .xci?

sxos 2.3 beta.

Whoops, an above poster beat me too it. to save a bit of time, the link they provided goes to a thread on team xecuter's forum where somebody has posted a workaround. for simplicity's sake, i'll paste what they suggested....

1. Start game
2. Press L+R when prompted
3. The homebrew file (hbmenu.nro) on the root of your microSD card will then launch. If it's not there, you will get a black screen.
4. Press the Home button to return to the Switch home menu
5. Press the '+' button to enter the options section of Overcooked 2
6. Exit the options section and resume Overcooked 2.
7. Game should now work.

Let me know if it works out for you. I don't have sx os, but I do have Overcooked 2, and this issue has kept me from picking up the sx os at the moment.

worked! thank you my bro
