Homebrew Nsui gba questions

1. My saves from a emulator aren't working even though I injected them.
2. Drill dozers save types option doesn't appear and it appears none how do I make a custom injection.
3. Do compatibility lists matter or is it like Wii injection on the Wii u where it's completely compatible.

My godmode9 is actually outdated but even though I saved in the gba game the save inject doesn't work and resets progress will write back thanks
