Hacking NSPZ and NSZ

are these two the same format? I tried blawar's python script. it worked for a while, but it errored at some point going through my nsp list. nszip, @nicoboss app, doesn't error. however, some of the resulting, compressed files are much smaller than @blawar 's script's. in fact, some of the smaller dlc actually came out to be larger than the nsp with blawar's script.

edit: I wasn't really sure where to post this thread, so it may be in the wrong place.

i think you are doing something wrong... none of my dlc nsz came out to larger sizes than the original nsp

this is the command I input: nsz.py --level 22 -C "E:\Switch Games\Nsp DLC" --output "E:\Switch Games\Nsz DLC"

it works, but it doesn't save the files to the output folder. it still saves them to the input one, unless they're moved at the end. plus, previously, the script errored at some point. I know that all of my nsp files are good, so I don't know what could've happened.

edit: hmm. now it's moving them to the right place. if it errors again, I'll try another computer.
