Hacking New DS Lite?

I am about 99% sure I am going to replace my launch DS with a new DS Lite. Is there any model of DS Lite that has successfully blocked out the R4DS card?

I assume not but I want to make 100% sure that my R4DS works completely with it.

I'm sure that all DS Lite can use R4DS, I have DS Lite myself. But DSi is another story, that's why most carts renew their products to pass through DSi.

Thanks, yeah I really don't want a DSI even though I realize I could just wait for that. Mostly due to the fact that I don't want to change my R4DS.

Buying a new system+new DS passcard seems a bit excessive.

DSi + AK2i isn't that much off from a DSL.
AK2i is like barely $20. If even that high.

DSi is around $170 ... iunno about canadian but its just like getting a psp and modded ... not much of a diff if you ask meh and btw, ds lite will work perfectly with the r4 ds

it's also that the dsi is right around the corner. it's like a friend i have that bought an ipod photo, highest capacity, two weeks before the video ipod came out.
